Established in 1992, IMI has performed thousands of shows, bringing their high energy, Urban Roots style to enthusiastic audiences along the entire east coast, was the only unsigned band to perform Woodstock '94 and has performed countless weddings and special events for audiences interested in an extremely diverse, interactive concert event perfect for all audiences. The core group of IMI is a four piece band that sounds like a much larger ensemble, due in part to the fact that they feature lead vocals with 4 part harmonies, tenor sax, two guitars, bass and drums. IMI has become famous for their shows which seemlessly blend music from a wide variety of styles from Top 40, Pop/Dance and Rock to Reggae, Funk, Hip-Hop and deep jams all while getting even the most timid audiences up and dancing!
